Getting ready for Father's Day

We are getting ready for Father's Day. We want to increase the number of e-cards sent to Fathers. Typically many or most of us send cards to our Mother's, leaving poor Dad out of the picture. Additionally, in certain households MOM was both Mom and Dad.

Our aim is to change the perception that some have of African American and black fathers, by showcasing and honoring those that are there for their families and communities. To do so, we are hosting a Father's Day contest where we are going to ask the participants to tell us about their Father or a man they know who is a great Father. Additionally, graduation is just around the corner we are inviting all those who know someone who is graduation to send them the Graduation Prayer greeting card. We created this card to honor the achievements of the men and women who have and continue to work hard to achieve their goals.















Additionally, emails will be sent out regarding the Mother's Day contest thanking all those that participated. The winner has been chosen. Who knows it may be you!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day !

Phew, we were really in rush mode adding these Mother's Day cards to the site. Where did the time go. We re-added 3 cards we already had and introduced 2 new ones. From the results so far it seems the Baby Momma card was the favorite. We thank everyone that sent a card to their Moms and other Moms they know. We personally feel Mother's day should be everyday since there are not enough days and ways to tell them how much we care.

We also have our Mother's Day contest on now until the 15th of May. The give away is $30 worth of Bath and Body products from Norma's Bath and Body. We have tested the products and can only say WOW. Move over Bath and Bodyworks and others, Norma's is about to take over. We invite you to try Norma's products yourself and don't forget to say Creative Soul Cards sent you.

The Launch of Creative Soul Cards

We started this blog to let you know what was going on in Creative Soul Cards.

So where to we start, how about at the beginning. To begin Creativesoulcards.com is almost 1 year old. The vision for our company and our site, started as a result of looking for ethnic-egreetings and not finding that many except the big guns would had an African American greeting card section. We thought what a novel idea, to create a site catered to and for people of color. We also wanted to provide illustrative images that looked like us and which portrayed us in a positive light.

Basically our aim was and is to offer you e-cards, greeting cards, stationary products and e-invites that provide the sentiments you want to say in an uplifting and positive way.

It has been a lot of work getting this site together. We, at times ,thought the process would be easier. However, we have steadily grown thanks to your help. We are look forward to coming out with new cards.

We would like your opinions on how you think we are doing or ideas you may have for cards or types of cards you would like to see. We may not be able to put them all up but we will do our best to provide you with cards you can enjoy.
